GrantXpert is actively involved in CLIPE, a Horizon2020 Marie Curie ITN project, under the coordination of the University of Cyprus.
The UCY team of CLIPE is pleased to announce 2 PhD Marie Sklodowska-Curie scholarships in the field of virtual characters simulation and animation.
The scholarships will be awarded by the Computer Science Department of UCY within the context of the project CLIPE (Creating Lively Interactive Populated Environments), under the supervision of Prof. Yiorgos Chrysanthou.
One of the positions is in collaboration with Silversky3D Virtual Reality Technologies Ltd and will be co-supervised by Prof. M Avraamides (Department of Psychology).
The research objective of CLIPE is to design the next-generation of VR-ready characters. CLIPE gathers some of the main European actors in the field of VR/AR, computer graphics, computer animation, psychology and perception, and extends its partnership to key industrial actors of populated virtual worlds, giving students the ability to explore new application fields and initiate collaborations beyond academia.
