The 2nd coordinating meeting of the partners of our European project My HandScraft, took place at our offices on the 5th and 6th of September. The project partners from Cyprus, Italy, Lithuania, Greece and the United Kingdom met in Nicosia to discuss the progress of the project so far, as well as our next plans and steps.
Our project aims to train immigrants and refugees living in Europe in specific handicraft professions, in order to acquire and develop the necessary knowledge and skills to create their own business and improve their standard of living.
Local handcrafters and artists will also benefit from these training workshops, learning about the techniques and materials used by migrants and refugees in their countries of origin, so that there is a real exchange of knowledge and skills.
