WATIFY is a European funded initiative aiming to build the first platform for stimulating digital entrepreneurship across the EU. The project is implemented in all EU countries and Watify Cyprus is implemented by the Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA), with GrantXpert Consulting handling all project management and administrative issues.
Watify emphasizes the importance of young entrepreneurs overcoming their doubts. This will be achieved through the sharing of experiences by many EU entrepreneurs on how they have managed to overcome their doubts while starting or digitizing their own business.
The specific objectives of WATIFY are to enhance the digital entrepreneurial culture by identifying and promoting digital icons, serial entrepreneurs and their success stories at pan European, national and local level. Also emphasis is placed in analyzing the digital transformation of existing enterprises by sharing industry specific success stories of disruptive business and operating models. Finally Watify aims to spark and support new business ideas in the digital world and boost their successful commercialization to the market.
